Turkiye's Borsa Istanbul flat at Thursday close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkiye's benchmark stock index ended flat on Thursday at 2,042.01 points, down 0.03% from the previous close.

After starting the day at 2,054.59 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell 0.69 point from Wednesday's close of 2,042.70 points.

The price of an ounce of gold was $1,992 at 1525GMT, up 0.05% for the day.

The price of Brent crude oil was around $112.70 for a daily gain of 1.4%.
