Turkiye's stocks up over 1% at Friday's open
BIST 100 index gains over 25 points from previous close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkiye's benchmark stock index opened at 2,416.04 points on Friday, rising 25.06 points, or 1.05%, from the previous close.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index fell 2.57% to 2,390.98 points on Thursday, with a daily trading volume of 45.5 billion Turkish liras ($3 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira exchange rate rose to 15.4429 as of 10.00 a.m. local time (0700GMT), versus 15.4000 at the previous close.
The euro/lira exchange rate increased to 16.0471 versus 16.0320, while a British pound traded for 18.8605 Turkish liras, down from 18.9060.
Brent crude oil was sold for around $108.45 per barrel as of 10 a.m. local time, while the price of one ounce of gold was $1,821.31.
