Turnover index in Türkiye up 41.8% in August

ISTANBUL (AA) — The total turnover index in Türkiye rose by 41.8% year-on-year in August, the Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) revealed on Friday.

Among sub-indexes, industry increased by 26.7%, construction by 75%, trade by 42.8% and services by 55.5% on an annual basis in August 2024.

Monthly, the total turnover index rose by 3.7% in August, with industry climbing 1%, construction 10.9%, trade 4.2%, and services 3.3%.
