ISTANBUL (AA) - Kyiv on Tuesday said it struck another oil depot in Russia’s Kursk region, two days after a similar report by local authorities in the region bordering Ukraine.

A statement by the General Staff claimed an oil depot in the village of Vozy was “successfully hit,” resulting in a fire.

“The blow was inflicted by the forces and means of the Security Service of Ukraine, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces,” the statement said.

Ukraine will continue to take “all possible measures” to undermine Russia’s “military and economic potential” in order to stop the ongoing conflict, it added.

Meanwhile, Russian air defenses downed four Ukrainian missiles over Kursk’s Kurchatovsky and Oktyabrsky districts, the region’s acting governor Alexey Smirnov said on Telegram.

Smirnov also reported shelling and drone attacks in other parts of the region, claiming that electronic warfare downed a Ukrainian drone in border areas.

The General Staff on Sunday said it struck the Polyova oil depot in the region.
