Ukraine says 3 injured in Russian airstrikes in 4 different regions, infrastructure damaged

ISTANBUL (AA) – Ukraine said on Sunday that three civilians were injured in Russian airstrikes in four different regions of the country, which also damaged critical infrastructure.

“Civilian facilities and critical infrastructure were attacked in the Poltava, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipropetrovsk regions,” the Ukrainian Air Force said in a statement on Telegram.

Russian forces carried out the attacks with eight unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), two Iskander missiles, and three S-300 missiles, the statement claimed.

The Ukrainian Air Force destroyed four out of eight UAVs, the statement said, adding that local administrations will remove the rubble from the damaged buildings caused by the attacks.

Donetsk Governor Vadym Filashkin said on Telegram that three people were injured in the city of Myrnohrad.

Local authorities in Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk reported that the attacks have caused damage to civilian infrastructure.

Poltava Governor Filip Pronin said the Russian attack caused damage to an industrial facility in the region's Kremenchutskyi district.

Russian officials have not yet commented on the overnight airstrikes in Ukraine.
