Ukraine says it shot down Russian Su-25 aircraft
Fighter jet was hit in the direction of Pokrovsk city, according to military statement

KYIV, Ukraine (AA) - The Ukrainian military on Sunday said it shot down a Russian Su-25 aircraft in the Donetsk region.
The fighter jet was hit in the direction of Pokrovsk city, the Khortytsia operational-strategic group said in a brief statement.
Russia launched its "special military operation" in Ukraine in February 2022.
