Ukraine's president arrives in Norway on unannounced visit
Volodymyr Zelenskyy to participate in meeting with Nordic countries

ISTANBUL (AA) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Wednesday arrived in the Norwegian capital Oslo on an unannounced visit.
"I arrived in Oslo to participate in the second Ukraine-Northern Europe Summit. Together with the leaders of Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and Sweden, we will talk about strengthening defense, political and economic cooperation, about our common future in Europe," Zelenskyy said in a statement on Telegram.
Indicating that the goal of his meeting with the Nordic countries is "security and a just and durable peace on the continent," Zelenskyy said that he will also hold bilateral talks with those that will attend the summit, including King of Norway Harald V.
"I would like to personally thank Norway for all the very timely and principled support it has provided to Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion," he concluded.
Zelenskyy's visit to Oslo came following a two-day visit to Washington on Tuesday.
The first Ukraine-Nordic summit took place in May in the Finnish capital Helsinki.
