Unemployment in Japan at 2.7% in August

ISTANBUL (AA) - The unemployment rate in Japan was 2.7% in August, unchanged from the figure in July, the country's Statistics Bureau said Friday. It was 2.6% in August 2022.

The rate was 2.8% for the age group of 15-64, while 2.9% for men and 2.4% for women.

The number of employed persons stood at 67.73 million, while the number of unemployed people reached 1.86 million.
