Israeli army storms city, triggering clashes with Palestinians
REVISES NUMBER OF CASUALTIES

JENIN, Palestine (AA) - At least two Palestinians were killed early Monday by gunfire during clashes with Israeli forces in the city of Jenin.
"Two young men were martyred and nine others were injured during confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the city of Jenin,” the official Palestinian news agency WAFA reported, citing local sources.
"The occupation forces stormed the city of Jenin with more than 100 military vehicles from several directions accompanied by two military bulldozers and besieged the vicinity of Ibn Sina Hospital,” WAFA said.
Israeli snipers were deployed on the roofs of the buildings surrounding the hospital and fired live bullets at civilians.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that two young men were injured by live bullets in the chest, abdomen and limbs and a third by bullet shrapnel during the storming of Jenin, according to WAFA.
