ISTANBUL (AA) – The Israeli army said Thursday that three more soldiers were killed in fighting in the Gaza Strip, bringing the death toll to 371 since the outbreak of the current conflict on Oct. 7.

A military statement said two soldiers from the 401st Brigade of the Armored Corps were killed in fighting in the northern Gaza Strip.

Another soldier from the 202nd Battalion of the Paratrooper Brigade was killed in clashes in the Palestinian territory, the military said in a separate statement.

The army said another two soldiers were seriously injured in the blockaded enclave.

It is not yet clear how many soldiers have been killed in the Gaza Strip since Israel expanded its ground operation in the blockaded territory on Oct. 27. Official figures, however, put the military death toll at 371 since the outbreak of the Gaza conflict on Oct. 7.

Israel has launched relentless air and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip since a cross-border attack by the Palestinian group Hamas on Oct. 7.

At least 11,500 Palestinians have been killed, including around 7,900 women and children, and over 29,800 others have been injured, according to the latest figures from Palestinian authorities.

Thousands of buildings, including hospitals, mosques and churches, have been damaged or destroyed in the Israeli offensive.

The Israeli death toll, meanwhile, stands at 1,200, according to official figures.
