UPDATE - Clinton, Trump in tight race as results roll in
Nominees separated by just 32 electoral college votes in nail-biting final hours
ADDS ADDITIONAL RACES, UPDATES HEADLINE TO REFLECT CLINTON GAINS

WASHINGTON (AA) – Early results show Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in a down to the wire race with Republican challenger Donald Trump with just hours to go late Tuesday evening.
Polls in Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, South Carolina, Vermont and Virginia were the first to begin closing at 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (0000GMT).
Early on major networks called Indiana, West Virginia and Kentucky for Trump. And he's since added to that tally with called victories in the Dakotas, Nebraska, and Texas with its coveted 38 electoral college electors.
But Clinton quickly claimed New York with 29 electors, as well as lesser prizes including Illinois, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Vermont and Maryland.
There is no clear winner yet In key battleground Florida, which has 29 electoral college electors.
But Clinton is widely expected to win the night's largest prize, California, which has 55 electors.
With all called races counted, the current tally stands at 136 electoral college delegates for Trump, and 104 for Clinton. The nominees need 270 to win.
In a blistering sign of voter dissatisfaction, an NBC News exit poll showed a broad majority of voters, 61 percent, held unfavorable views of both candidates.
"I voted Hillary just because I want Trump to be embarrassed,” said Adam Brooks, who spoke to Anadolu Agency at Public School 59 in Manhattan where Trump voted earlier in the day.
Also voting at the school was Justin Cable who said he was adamant he would not lend his support to Trump.
“I just think he is a poor choice to represent this country,” he said.
Trump said earlier in the day he would not necessarily accept the results, continuing to break with American tradition, and raising concerns about possible unrest in the wake of the election.
With voting ongoing in most of the country, a polling location outside of Los Angeles was forced to go on lockdown after a shooting occurred nearby. At least one person was dead and multiple others were wounded, according to the Los Angeles Times.
The suspect is reportedly heavily armed and has barricaded himself inside a house.
