UPDATES WITH PARTIAL REOPENING OF STRAIT FOR VESSEL TRAFFIC, REVISES HEADLINE, LEDE

ISTANBUL (AA) - Vessel traffic in the Istanbul Strait, which had been suspended in both directions due to the breakdown of a dry cargo ship, has partially reopened on Saturday.
Türkiye's General Directorate of Coastal Safety said in a statement that the 106-meter-long B LINE, which encountered a mechanical failure near Akintiburnu, was safely towed to Ahirkapi by the KURTARMA-5 tugboat under the coordination of the Istanbul Vessel Traffic Services Center.
Following the anchoring, vessel traffic in the strait has partially resumed in the south-north direction.
Earlier, vessel traffic in the Istanbul Strait was suspended after a dry cargo ship en route from Israel to Bulgaria broke down.
