MOSCOW (AA) - Russian regional authorities on Saturday reported multiple casualties due to Ukraine's drone attacks.

Kursk region Governor Roman Starovoit said in a statement a man was killed in the town of Sudzha after a Ukrainian drone dropped an explosive device in the town of Sudzha.

"A local resident was injured. He was promptly taken to the district hospital, where he received first aid. However, the man died," the governor said.

Separately, Belgorod region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said a Ukrainian drone dropped two bombs on a truck in NovostRoyevka-Pervaya village, killing one and injuring another man.

According to Gladkov, another woman was injured in the settlement of Tserkovny in a Ukrainian FPV-drone attack.

At least seven private houses were also destroyed in the shelling, he said.

Three civilians were killed and eight more injured in Ukraine's strike on a restaurant in Donetsk, Russia-appointed head of the region Denis Pushilin said on Telegram.

According to Pushilin, it was Kyiv's revenge for declaring Donetsk People's Republic, which happened exactly 10 years ago.

"One of the American HIMARS missiles hit directly the restaurant and damaged the outer wall, glazing around the perimeter of the building, and street structures. The second struck a nearby unfinished building, damaging the roof," he said.

Meanwhile, the death toll from Ukraine's Friday strike on an oil depot in the city of Rovenki in Russia-controlled Luhansk region, which was allegedly carried out using American-made ATACMS missiles with cluster munitions, increased to four. The wounded rose to 11, the local authorities said.

Drone attacks were also reported in other Russian regions directly bordering Ukraine or located in close proximity.
