UPDATE - Turkey's Borsa Istanbul closes Tuesday with new all-time high
BIST 100 index gains 29.08 points, or 1.66%, from previous close

ANKARA (AA) – Turkey's benchmark stock index ended with gains on Tuesday to finish at 1,784.56 points – a new all-time high closing.
After starting the day at 1,756.71 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index gained 29.08 points, or 1.66%, from Monday's close of 1,755.48 points.
The BIST 100's lowest value during the day was 1,746.36 points and its daily high was 1,791.82 points.
The total market value of the index was over 1.42 trillion Turkish liras ($127.3 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of more than 49.7 billion Turkish liras ($4 billion).
A total of 49 stocks on the index rose, while 51 fell compared to Monday's close.
The highest trading volumes were posted by private lender Garanti BBVA, iron and steel producer Kardemir, and glassmaker Sisecam.
Shares of ENKA, active in industry and construction fields, performed the best, rising 8.94%, while stocks of private lender Akbank dropped the most, 4.03%.
One ounce of gold traded for $1,796.80 by market close, down from $1,840.60 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was up 2.16% to $81.42 per barrel as of 6.48 p.m. local time (1548GMT).
