UPDATE - Turkish stocks up 3.25% at Tuesday close
BIST 100 index rises 41.71 points from previous close, USD/TRY exchange rate stands at 7.848

ANKARA (AA) - Turkey's benchmark stock index closed at 1,325.29 points on Tuesday, up 3.25% compared to the previous close.
After starting the day at 1,302.25 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index rose 41.71 points from Monday's close of 1,283.58 points.
On Tuesday, the BIST 100 hovered between 1,287.62 and 1,308.24 points -- 82 stocks on the index rose and 14 fell compared to the previous close.
The total market value of the BIST 100 was around 958 billion Turkish liras ($123 billion) by market close, with a daily trading volume of 30 billion Turkish liras ($3.8 billion).
The highest trading volumes were posted by iron and steel producer Kardemir, private lender Garanti BBVA and petrochemical company Petkim.
Stocks of Ege Endustri, which manufactures auto industry components, was the best performer, with its shares up 10%, while stocks of Pinar Et, a frozen meat producer, dropped the most, down 4.54%.
The price of one ounce of gold was $1,809.70 by market close, up from $1,758.00 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.
The price of Brent crude oil was around $47.54 per barrel as of 6.15 p.m. local time (1515GMT) on Tuesday.
