MOSCOW (AA) - Ukraine's Security Service put Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova on the country's wanted list on Monday.
The Ukrainian Interior Ministry said on its website that Zakharova is "hiding from a pre-trial investigation," with the date of her "disappearance" indicated as March 14.
She is charged with "encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine" under Article 110 of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.
In a separate statement, the ministry said that former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, who is currently serving as deputy chairman of the country's Security Council, is charged under the same article and has also been put on the wanted list.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said 43 of the 84 missiles launched Monday by Russia against Ukraine were shot down.
“Ukraine cannot be intimidated, and Ukrainians united even more instead. Ukraine cannot be stopped, and Ukrainians are convinced even more that terrorists must be neutralized,” Zelenskyy said on Telegram.
He added that restoration work is underway throughout the country.
“We will restore all objects that were damaged by today's attack by Russian terrorists,” he said.
The death toll from the latest Russian attacks across Ukraine rose to 11, with 64 people wounded, Ukrainian authorities said Monday.
Earlier, Zelenskyy said that Ukraine's energy facilities and its people were Russia's two main targets. He reiterated his call for residents to stay in bomb shelters.
The building which houses the visa office of the German embassy in Kyiv was also hit by Russian missiles, a German Foreign Ministry spokesman said Monday.
According to reports, some parts of Ukraine are witnessing power outages and water supply cuts.
