ISTANBUL (AA) - Majority stakes of a Türkiye based game studio, Loom Games, were purchased by US based Saudi gaming firm Scopely.
"Financial terms were not disclosed, but the deal’s multi-year, performance-based structure values the business in excess of $1 billion," Scopely said on Thursday.
With this valuation, Loom Games achieved a unicorn status, means startups valued at over $1 billion.
The Turkish firm was founded by Kubra Gundogan and Emre Celik last year and launched a famous digital game Pixel Flow in late 2025.
The hybrid casual puzzle game already attracts more than 10 million players globally.
It became the only casual game released in the last 12 months to break into the monthly top-20 grossing charts in the US.
The Pixel Flow team now consists of approximately 20 game makers who built an experience with millions of daily active users.
