US initial jobless claims remain unchanged
217,000 claims filed last week, in line with market estimates

ISTANBUL (AA) - The number of Americans filing first-time unemployment remained unchanged at 217,000 last week, according to Labor Department data released Thursday.
The figure came in line with the market estimates.
The previous week's level was revised up by 2,000 from 215,000.
The four-week moving average was 212,250, a decrease of 750 from the previous week's revised average.
The US economy added 353,000 jobs in January, while the unemployment rate remained unchanged at 3.7%.
