US stock market closes mixed

NEW YORK (AA) - The stock market closed mixed on Tuesday.

The Dow fell 11 points to end the day at 22,284. This is the fourth consecutive trading day that the index has posted losses -- a first since June.

Fast-food chain McDonald's saw its stock price decrease 1.8 percent, while Twitter shares fell 2.3 percent.

The S&P, on the other hand, increased less than a point to close flat at 2,496.

The Nasdaq rose nine points to finish trading at 6,380.

GoPro shares were up 2.9 percent at the final bell.
