US stock market opens mixed
Twitter shares up 0.5 percent
NEW YORK (AA) - The U.S. stock market opened mixed Tuesday with tech stocks continuing to trade higher.
The Dow added 35 points to open at 19,851 and the S&P 500 was up less than a point to begin the second trading day flat at 2,268.
The Nasdaq added seven points to start at 5,539.
At the first bell, computer graphics company Nvidia and social media firm Twitter saw their stock prices increase by 0.8 percent and 0.5 percent, respectively.
