US stock market opens mixed

NEW YORK (AA) - The U.S. stock market opened mixed Wednesday, as two of the major three indices on Wall Street retreated from their record-high levels posted Tuesday.

The Dow rose 11 points to begin trading at 22,130 points.

The S&P 500, however, lost 1 point to open at 2,494 points, while the Nasdaq fell 13 points to start the day at 6,440 points.

Both indices finished Tuesday at their all-time highest levels.

After introducing its new iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus models on Tuesday, Apple saw its stock price tumble 1.2 percent at Wednesday's opening.
