The dollar index fell 0.53% to 101.29, while the euro increased 0.37% to $1.1084 against the greenback.
Precious metals were in positive territory, with gold adding 0.1% to $2,496 per ounce and silver rising 0.8% to $28.28.
Oil prices were down more than 1.4%, with global benchmark Brent crude at $72.70 a barrel and US benchmark West Texas Intermediate crude at $69.23.
