Wall Street closes lower after US strike
Economy added 98,000 jobs in March, against an expectation of 180,000

NEW YORK (AA) - Wall Street closed lower Friday with weak jobs data and the U.S. launching missile strikes on a Syrian air base late Thursday.
The Dow finished the day down six points to 20,656 and the S&P fell almost two points to 2,355.
The Nasdaq lost one point to end the last trading day of the week at 5,877.
The U.S. economy added only 98,000 jobs in March, the Department of Labor said earlier Friday, well below the expected 180,000.
After the U.S. took action in retaliation for a chemical attack in Syria, investors were cautious on Friday and took a sell-off position.
