Wall Street ends at record-high for second straight day

NEW YORK (AA) – Wall Street closed Tuesday at a record-high for the second consecutive session.

The Dow added 66 points to finish at 19,023 and the S&P 500 was up four points to 2,202. The Nasdaq increased 17 points to end the day at 5,386.

It is the first time since March 1998 that all three indexes simultaneously closed at record levels for two trading days in a row.

President-elect Donald Trump's promises of financial deregulation policies have created positive sentiment on the stock market, and increased the risk appetite of investors who have taken a buying position, according to analysts.
