Yemen’s Houthis releases footage of ballistic missile launches against Israel
Group airs footage of 2 hypersonic ballistic missiles targeting Tel Aviv

SANAA, Yemen (AA) - The Houthi group in Yemen released footage late Thursday showing two hypersonic ballistic missiles being fired at in central Israel.
The footage, produced by the Houthi Military Media Center that aired on the group's Al-Masirah TV channel, showed the launch of two “F-2 Palestine” missiles targeting military sites in Tel Aviv.
Earlier Thursday, the group announced it had launched the two “F-2 Palestine” ballistic missiles at “vital military targets” in the city, coinciding with Israeli airstrikes on the Yemeni capital of Sana'a and the port city of Al Hudaydah in western Yemen.
Israel reported that 14 fighter jets attacked five targets in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen with dozens of bombs.
Houthi-affiliated media outlets said the Israeli airstrikes targeted energy infrastructure and ports in Sana'a and Al Hudaydah, resulting in the deaths of nine people and the injury of three others.
It marked Israel's third attack on Yemen since the Gaza Strip genocide began in October 2023. The first occurred in July, followed by a second in September, which targeted the Al Hudaydah port and fuel facilities at a power plant in the city.
The Houthis, in solidarity with Gaza, which has been facing an Israeli genocidal war since Oct. 7, 2023, have targeted Israeli cargo ships or those associated with Tel Aviv in the Red Sea with missiles and drones, expressing a determination to continue operations until the end of the onslaught on the enclave.
Since the beginning of 2024, a coalition led by the US has been conducting airstrikes that it said are targeting Houthi locations in parts of Yemen in response to attacks by the group in the Red Sea. The counterattacks have been occasionally met with retaliation from the group.
With the intervention of Washington and London, and an escalation of tensions, the Houthis announced that they consider all American and British ships military targets.
