ISTANBUL (AA) - Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema and Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet arrived in Beijing on Thursday for talks with the Chinese leadership.
Hichilema started his week-long state visit to China on Sunday, and is expected to meet Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping and other officials.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation, building on recent discussions held during the recent BRICS summit in South Africa, said the Zambian Foreign Ministry.
Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet is also in China on a three-day official visit, marking the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
He is scheduled to meet Xi and others officials after attending a trade and investment expo in southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, Cambodia's Foreign Ministry said.
The duo will discuss strengthening their ties through the creation of a "Cambodia-China Community," as well as addressing regional and international matters.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is also on a week-long official visit to China, strengthening their "all-weather strategic partnership." It will conclude on Thursday.
