RAMALLAH, Palestine (AA) – Four Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Tulkarem refugee camp in the northern occupied West Bank on Wednesday.
In a statement, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said its medical teams removed four bodies from the struck site in the camp.
Eyewitnesses told Anadolu that an Israeli drone struck a site in the Tulkarem refugee camp while the Israeli forces besieged the camp and raided dozens of homes inside it.
The Israeli army bulldozers also destroyed roads, market shops and vehicles in the camp, the eyewitnesses added.
Palestinian official news agency Wafa earlier reported the killing of three Palestinians in an Israeli drone strike near the Balata refugee camp in Nablus city.
Tensions have been running high across the West Bank since Israel launched a deadly military offensive against the Gaza Strip following a Hamas attack on Oct. 7.
At least 360 Palestinians have since been killed and nearly 4,000 others injured by Israeli army fire in the occupied territory, according to figures released by the Health Ministry.
