6th stage of 57th Tour of Turkiye begins
In stage, cyclists will cross 1915 Canakkale Bridge from Asia to the European continent

ANKARA (AA) - The sixth stage - Edremit-Eceabat - of the 57th Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkiye, organized by the Turkish Cycling Federation under the auspices of the Presidency, has started on Friday.
The 6th stage has started in front of the Sarikiz Statue in Edremit's Akcay District in western Turkiye.
At the 149th kilometer of the stage, cyclists will cross from Asia to Europe over the 1915 Canakkale Bridge, the suspension bridge with the longest middle span in the world with a middle span of 2 thousand 23 meters.
Argentinian Eduardo Sepulveda from Italy's Drone Hopper-Androni Giocattoli team, who won the fourth stage and became the leader of the general classification, is wearing the turquoise jersey.
The 204.6 kilometers-long stage will be completed at the 57th Infantry Regiment Martyrdom on the historic Gallipoli peninsula.
