Anadolu Efes hammer Gaziantep Basketbol in Istanbul

ISTANBUL (AA) - Anadolu Efes toppled Empera Hali Gaziantep Basketbol 102-63 in the ING Basketball Super Lig on Sunday.

Playing at Istanbul's Sinan Erdem Dome, Anadolu Efes forward Yigitcan Saybir was the game's highest scorer with 17 points and eight rebounds.

Serbian guard Vasilije Micic scored 13 points, while French forward Adrien Moerman bagged 12 points for the home victory.

French center Mouhammadou Jaiteh was the highest scorer for Gaziantep Basketbol, scoring 21 points in the loss to the Istanbul club.

Meanwhile, Anadolu Efes center Tibor Pleiss was out with five fouls.

With the game, on matchday 24 Efes stayed on top of the standings with 23 wins and one loss, while Gaziantep are in the number nine spot with 12 wins and 12 defeats.

- Galatasaray lose to Turk Telekom in Ankara

Galatasaray tasted an away defeat against Turk Telekom with 81-77 at Mamak Belediyesi sports dome in the capital Ankara.

Ankara club Turk Telekom's Canadian forward Kyle Wiltjer played a key role in the victory with 21 points.

The Lions' center Ayberk Olmaz finished with 16 points and nine rebounds.

With the result, Turk Telekom are in fifth place with a 14-10 record, while Galatasaray are in 14th place with 7-17 win/loss.​​​​​​​
