Arab states congratulate new US President Biden
Kuwait, Qatar, Palestine congratulate Biden, look forward to enhancing cooperation

DOHA (AA) - Kuwait, Qatar, and Palestine congratulated new US President Joe Biden on his inauguration on Wednesday.
In a message, Kuwaiti Emir Nawaf al‑Ahmad al‑Jaber al‑Sabah congratulated Biden and hailed bilateral relations between the two countries.
Al-Sabah said he looks forward to strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two countries and enhancing cooperation.
Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, also sent a congratulatory message to Biden, wishing him success. He also wished further development and growth of friendship and strategic cooperation between the two countries.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas congratulated Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, wishing them success in "facing the major challenges."
In a statement carried by the official Wafa News Agency, Abbas said: "We look forward to working together for peace and stability in the region and the world."
He expressed his readiness for a comprehensive and just peace process.
Earlier on Wednesday evening, Biden was officially sworn in as the 46th president of the US as well as Kamala Harris as vice president.
