Arsenal sign Ukrainian football player Zinchenko

ANKARA (AA) - Arsenal on Friday acquired Ukrainian football player Oleksandr Zinchenko from Manchester City.

"Oleksandr Zinchenko has joined us on a long-term contract from Manchester City," Arsenal said in a statement.

Zinchenko, 25, joined the Premier League club in 2016, but spent the 2016-17 season on loan at Dutch club PSV Eindhoven before his return to Man City in 2017.

He scored two goals in 128 appearances for Manchester City, and helped the team win four English Premier League titles.

Zinchenko is able to operate in midfield and defense.
