Bayern Munich take step closer to winning league title

ANKARA (AA) - Bayern Munich took another step closer to the Bundesliga title by sealing a 2-0 win against Bayer 04 Leverkusen on matchday 30.

First-half goals from Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting and Joshua Kimmich gave a victory to the home side at the Allianz Arena on Tuesday.

Having collected 71 points, Bayern Munich moved 10 points clear ahead of the second-placed RB Leipzig who were beaten by Koln 2-1 in an away game.

- Schalke relegated from Bundesliga after 1-0 loss to Arminia Bielefeld

After losing 1-0 to Arminia Bielefeld in another Tuesday's clash, Schalke 04 were relegated from the Bundesliga for the fourth time in their history, after 1981, 1983, and 1988.

Fabian Klos scored the only goal for Arminia Bielefeld at the Bielefelder Alm.

The 2020-2021 Bundesliga season has been a disappointing season for Schalke 04 with their poor form as they only have 13 points in 30 matches.
