Benfica qualifies for group stage of Champions League after beating Dynamo Kiev 3-0

ANKARA (AA) - Benfica qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League after beating Dynamo Kiev 3-0 in the second leg of the playoffs Tuesday.

Benfica's Nicolas Otamendi opened the score in the 27th minute at Estadio da Luz in Lisbon.

Rafa Silva made it 2-0 for the hosts in the 40th minute. Then, just two minutes later, David Neres scored another one for the Portuguese club.

Benfica passed the playoffs with a 5-0 aggregate win after winning the first leg 2-0 at home.

The UEFA Champions League group draws will be held Thursday in Istanbul.
