Benzema scores twice from spot, Real Madrid beat Celta Vigo 2-1 in La Liga

ANKARA (AA) - Karim Benzema scored twice on Saturday in Real Madrid's 2-1 La Liga win against Celta Vigo.

French forward Benzema continued his impressive form by scoring twice from the penalty spot in minutes 19 and 69 at the Estadio de Balaidos.

He also missed a penalty in the 64th minute, while Thiago Galhardo was the lone scorer for the home side.

Leaders Real Madrid have collected 69 points, while Celta Vigo are in the 11th spot in the league with 36 points in 30 matches.
