Brentford's Igor Thiago wins Player of Month for November in English Premier League

ISTANBUL (AA) - Igor Thiago won the English Premier League Player of the Month for November, becoming the first Brentford player to win.

"It means so much to me. I'm really happy to receive this because it means my hard work on the pitch has paid off," said Thiago. "I'm surprised! But hopefully I can receive more of these this season. I'm so happy and proud of myself.”

The 24-year-old forward netted 11 goals this season for Brentford, including five in December behind only Manchester City's Erling Haaland, who has scored 15.
