Chelsea, Aston Villa share points in Premier League

ANKARA (AA) - Chelsea drew with Aston Villa 1-1 in a Monday Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge.

Olivier Giroud found the net to give the home team the lead in the 34th minute.

In the second half, Aston Villa equalized the game with Anwar El Ghazi's goal in the 50th minute.

By salvaging a point in an away game, Aston Villa stayed one place above Chelsea on goal difference, sitting in sixth place with 26 points.

In another Premier League game Monday, Crystal Palace drew with Leicester City 1-1 at home.

Manchester City's match with Everton, which had been set for Monday, was delayed due to multiple coronavirus cases in the Mancunian team.
