China begins operations in space

China's in-orbit space station has successfully carried out 110 projects in space science research

ISTANBUL (AA) – China announced on Friday it had begun operations in its national space laboratory.

According to Beijing-based daily Global Times, the space station is carrying out projects in fields ranging from life sciences to microgravity physics in emerging space technologies.

The China Manned Space Agency has successfully carried out 110 projects, from which they have retrieved 300 experimental samples.

The agency confirmed specific projects are ongoing and have reached the interim phase.
