Daesh suspect arrested in east Turkey

ELAZIG, Turkey (AA) - A Daesh suspect was arrested on Wednesday in the eastern Turkish province of Elazig, police sources said.

The suspect, a Syrian national, who was arrested in an anti-terror operation, has been transferred to the provincial police department, said the sources, who refused to be named due to restrictions on speaking to the media.

At least 319 people have lost their lives in Daesh terror attacks in Turkey, where the terror organization has targeted civilians in suicide bomb, rocket and gun attacks.
