Detroit Pistons' Jaden Ivey undergoes surgery on broken left fibula
22-year-old got injured during Wednesday's Detroit’s 105-96 win against Orlando Magic

ISTANBUL (AA) - Jaden Ivey of Detroit Pistons underwent a successful surgery on Thursday to repair a broken fibula in his left leg, the NBA confirmed on Friday.
The injury occurred during the fourth quarter of Detroit’s 105-96 win over the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night, forcing him to leave the court with a leg injury.
"I promise to come back even better. The recovery starts now #DetroitBasketball," Ivey wrote on X.
The 22-year-old guard will be reevaluated in four weeks. He averaged 17.6 points and 4.1 rebounds ( both career highs) and four assists in 30 games this season.
