Dutch midfielder Gravenberch signs for Bayern Munich

20-year-old agrees to contract with German club until 2027

ANKARA (AA) - Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch has joined Bayern Munich, the German club announced on Monday.

The 20-year-old, who was with Ajax Amsterdam, agreed to a contract until 2027, the club based in Bavaria said.

"Proud to be part of the Bayern family now. Ready for all that's coming and can't wait to start," ⁣Gravenberch said on Twitter.

"Ryan Gravenberch is a young, highly interesting player who lots of Europe's top clubs would've liked to have signed," said Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn.

Gravenberch started training in the famous Ajax young academy when he was 8, and made it to the first team in 2019.

He netted 12 goals and produced 13 assists in his 103 games for the Dutch club, and clinched three Eredivisie (Dutch Premier League) titles in 2019, 2021 and 2022.
