2010 FIFA World Cup finalist Arjen Robben ends career, his former clubs announce

ANKARA (AA) - Dutch football star Arjen Robben has retired from football at the age of 35 on Thursday.
He has played for football heavyweights Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
His former club Netherlands' PSV and Bayern Munich announced the end of his career on Twitter.
"A Netherlands legend retires. What a career you had. All the best in the future, Arjen!" PSV said in a tweet. Robben was a PSV player from 2002 to 2004.
"He came, he cut inside, he conquered. Thanks for the memories and enjoy your retirement, Arjen Robben," Bayern Munich tweeted.
In the summer of 2004, he joined London club Chelsea, his first experience playing for an international club.
The former Netherlands winger lastly played for Bayern Munich, where he won eight German Bundesliga titles.
During his 10-season spell at Bayern, Robben won the UEFA Champions League in 2013.
In the 2013 Champions League final in London's Wembley Stadium, Robben helped Bayern Munich to win this top-tier European trophy, scoring the winning goal against rivals Borussia Dortmund near the end of this match.
Robben made 96 appearances for Netherlands and scored 37 goals for his country.
He was a part of the Netherlands squad during the 2010 FIFA World Cup as this team was the World Cup runners-up. Spain were the winners in South Africa.
Throughout his club career, Robben scored 209 goals in 602 appearances in total.
