Embiid-led Sixers sink Bucks 123-120 in NBA's away game
Joel Embiid scores 42 points against Milwaukee, Bucks' superstar Giannis racks up 32 points

ANKARA (AA) - Joel Embiid led the Philadelphia 76ers to a 123-120 win over the 2021 champions Milwaukee Bucks, scoring 42 points in a Thursday NBA game.
Embiid also took 14 rebounds at the Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee.
The Bucks' Greek superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo tallied 32 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists.
The game was tight but Antetokounmpo was unopposed to hit a three-pointer with 3 minutes and 56 seconds left to the buzzer in the fourth quarter as the Bucks extended their lead to 116-112.
But the Sixers took the lead after Georges Niang scored a three-pointer to answer Antetokounmpo, and Embiid hit a fadeaway jumper.
Philadelphia made it 117-116 with 02:32 remaining, and never looked back.
The Sixers secured a 123-120 win to enter the NBA All-Star break with a good mood.
The 71st NBA All-Star Game will be held on Sunday at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland.
The other Sixers members are quite balanced in scores.
Tyrese Maxey scored 19 points for the 76ers. The visitors' power forward Tobias Harris had 19 points as well. Niang added 18 points.
Philadelphia's Turkish shooting guard Furkan Korkmaz scored 13 points.
Meanwhile in the Bucks, all starters including Antetokounmpo scored in double digits.
Jrue Holiday bagged 24, Khris Middleton had 19, Jordan Nwora racked up 18, and Bobby Portis added 17 points for the losing team.
Philadelphia are in the third spot in the Eastern Conference standings. They won 35 games this season. The Sixers lost 23 others.
Milwaukee are in the fifth position in the same conference.
The Bucks are going 36-24 in the 2021-22 NBA season.
The Eastern Conference are led by Miami Heat, who have 38-21 win/loss record.
Second-placed Chicago Bulls have the same form.

Los Angeles Lakers star Anthony Davis will be out of action for at least four weeks due to a right ankle injury, a team reporter said.
"Update on Anthony Davis: an MRI revealed a mid-foot sprain. He’ll be re-evaluated in about four weeks," Mike Trudell said on Twitter on Friday.
Davis, 28, went off in the second quarter after playing nearly 17 minutes against the Utah Jazz that the Lakers won by 106-101 on Wednesday night.
An eight-time All-Star, Davis was previously sidelined for at least four weeks after spraining a medial collateral ligament his left knee in December.
The US power forward-center returned to the game in late January, but faced another significant injury this week.
