EuroLeague champs Anadolu Efes to take on AX Armani Exchange Milan in first round of playoffs

Turkish, Italian teams to square off in first game on April 19

ANKARA (AA) - The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague playoff round draws were held Wednesday with reigning champions Anadolu Efes facing Ax Armani Exchange Milan at Mediolanum Forum in Italy on April 19 in the first game.

A total of eight teams will participate: Ax Armani Exchange Milan, Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv, Olympiacos Piraeus and Monaco.

A best-of-five game series will be held in the round.

The 2022 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Final Four round will be played on May 19-21 at Stark Arena in Belgrade.

Anadolu Efes from Turkiye tare on track to make it to the Final Four, along with the Spanish team Real Madrid -- the most successful team in the EuroLeague with 10 titles.
