Football: 2 Bayern Munich players contract coronavirus

BERLIN, Germany (AA) - Bayern Munich players Javi Martinez and Leon Goretzka have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus, manager Hansi Flick said on Friday.

Speaking at the press conference prior to Bundesliga clash against Hoffenheim, Flick said that both players are self-isolating.

Martinez and Goretzka will not be available against Hoffenheim, while goalkeeper Alexander Nubel will be out for up to a month after suffering an ankle injury in training yesterday, Flick added.
