ANKARA (AA) - Chelsea's rising star Tammy Abraham said he has not made a decision over his international career.
Abraham, who has a Nigerian father, was born in London.
He played in two friendly matches for England against Germany and Brazil in 2017 but he has not made appearances in an official match for England yet.
So, Abraham is still eligible to represent Nigeria although in the past he wore English national team jersey for under-18, under-19 and under-21 at the international level.
"I haven't made a decision yet. I am focusing on the club," Abraham told BBC Radio 5 Live radio station in an interview.
"It is always a privilege to be wanted by both nations, I love both nations and for me I am clearly doing something right for Chelsea. My time will come," he added.
Abraham is expected to be called up to the senior England team by manager Gareth Southgate for the upcoming competitions against Czechia and Bulgaria.
The 22-year-old striker put on an impressive performance with English Premier League club Chelsea so far this season, producing eight goals in 10 matches in all competitions.
He lastly scored against Lille from France in a Champions League competition where his team defeated the French club 2-1 in an away match on Wednesday.
