Galatasaray eliminated from Turkish Cup after losing to Basaksehir

ISTANBUL (AA) - Medipol Başaksehir defeated Galatasaray 3-2 to qualify for the Turkish Cup semifinals Wednesday.

Playing at Nef Stadium, Patryk Szysz scored twice in the 12th and 66th minutes and Danijel Aleksic netted another goal for Basaksehir in the 30th minute.

Galatasaray's goals came from Kaan Ayhan in the 20th minute and Mauro İcardi in the 51st minute as the quarterfinal ended in favor of Basaksehir.

Basaksehir will face MKE Ankaragucu in the next stage.

Semifinal first legs will be played on April 4, 5 and 6 while the second legs will be held on April 25, 26 and 27.
