Galatasaray to face Lazio for Group E lead in Europa League
Turkish club currently at top of group with 11 points while Italian side in 2nd place, with 8 points

ISTANBUL (AA) - Galatasaray will face Lazio in the final stage of Group D on Thursday, as both teams will fight to determine who will move on as leaders.
The match will be played at 2000GMT at Lazio's home ground, Rome's Stadio Olimpico.
Having amassed 11 points, the Istanbul football club has three wins and two losses to lead Group D.
Lazio, who have eight points, need a home win to take the group lead. The Italian team so far has two wins, two draws, and one defeat.
Galatasaray will be playing without some of its key players.
Romanian midfielder Alexandru Cicaldau will be absent from the pitch as he tested positive for COVID-19.
French defender Sacha Boey will also miss the game due to a hamstring injury.
On Nov. 25, matchday five, the Lions defeated Olympique Marseille 4-2 to clinch a top-two finish.
Galatasaray will need at least a draw to qualify for the top 16 of the Europa League as a group winner.
In the first group clash, Galatasaray beat Lazio 1-0 with an own goal from Thomas Strakoshai at Istanbul's Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex.
- Fenerbahce to take on Frankfurt
Fenerbahce will host Eintracht Frankfurt Thursday at 1745GMT at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium in Istanbul.
The Yellow Canaries, with five points, were already knocked out of the Europa League following a 1-0 loss to Olympiacos in a week five match.
Third-place Fenerbahce dropped into the Europa Conference League.
Eintracht Frankfurt are at top of Group D with 11 points, while second-place Olympiacos are two points behind the German club.
