Gavi set to renew Barcelona contract until 2026

ANKARA (AA) – FC Barcelona have reached an agreement with Gavi to extend the Spanish midfielder’s contract until 2026.

The teen prodigy will sign the new contract on Thursday at Camp Nou, the Spanish football club said in a statement on Wednesday.

Gavi, who trained in Barcelona youth team, is deemed as one of the most promising young players in Spanish football by many.

The 18-year-old has two goals and six assists in 52 games for Barcelona.
