German champions Leverkusen's unbeaten run still alive, PSG hammer Lyon in France
Bayer Leverkusen draw 1-1 at Borussia Dortmund as Josip Stanisic scores very late equalizer for visitors

German Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen extended their unbeaten streak to 45 games after they bagged a 1-1 draw at Borussia Dortmund, while French leaders Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) hammered Olympique Lyon 4-1 on Sunday.
Xabi Alonso's Leverkusen, who clinched their first-ever German title on April 14, salvaged a 1-1 draw at Dortmund thanks to a header scored by Croatia defender Josip Stanisic in the 97th minute.
Dortmund's Niclas Füllkrug broke the deadlock in the 81st minute but Stanisic's header after a corner kick rescued Leverkusen's unbeaten run this season.
Leverkusen are on top of the league with 80 points in 30 matches. The German league will end in four weeks.
Dortmund are fifth with 57 points to battle RB Leipzig, who collect 59 points.
On Saturday, Bayern Munich took a large win at Union Berlin 5-1 to be in the second spot. A Bayern veteran, Thomas Muller scored a double. They have 66 points to go three points clear of Stuttgart.
- Leaders PSG thrash Lyon at home
French Ligue 1 leaders PSG hammered Olympique Lyon 4-1 in a Sunday league match at Paris' Parc des Princes.
Lyon's Serbian midfielder Nemanja Matic, who played for Chelsea and Manchester United in previous years, scored an early own goal, which was the opener.
PSG defender Lucas Beraldo doubled the lead in the sixth minute to cheer the home team fans.
Goncalo Ramos' header in the area made it 3-0 for PSG in the 33rd minute.
Lyon winger Ernest Nuamah scored a left-footed low strike outside the area before Ramos finished on a counterattack several minutes before the end of the first half.
PSG, who won the Lyon clash with first-half goals, boosted their points to 66 in 29 matches.
Lyon are at the eighth spot with 41 points.
Meanwhile, second-place Monaco have 55 points in the league table after they won 2-0 at Brest on Sunday.
- Real Madrid win El Clasico
Real Madrid beat Barcelona 3-2 in Sunday's hard-fought El Clasico in the Spanish LaLiga as the Whites are running toward the 2024 title.
English star Jude Bellingham scored an injury-time goal to bring a precious win for the Whites in Madrid.
Real Madrid are in the league's driving seat with 81 points, while the nearest opponents Barcelona have 70 points after Sunday's defeat. The Spanish league will end in six weeks.
Third-place Girona beat Cadiz 4-1 to increase their points to 68.
- Inter seek to win Serie A title tonight
Italian Serie A leaders Inter Milan will be seeking to claim the 2024 Italian Serie A title, their first since 2021, by winning a derby against AC Milan tonight.
If Inter manage to win their 20th title on Monday, they will add the second star above their badge. A star means every 10 league crowns in Italy.
Inter have 83 points before the derby as they have a 14-point advantage on second-place AC Milan.
Third-place Juventus, the record holders with 36 Italian titles, drew at Cagliari 2-2 on Friday to have 64 points in 33 matches.
- Arsenal return to top of English Premier League
London's Arsenal have returned to the top of the English Premier League after the Gunners won at Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 on Saturday.
Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard scored for Arsenal at Molineux Stadium.
Arsenal have 74 points to be the leaders on goal difference.
Liverpool beat Fulham 3-1 on the road on Sunday to also have 74 points.
Manchester City are third with 73 goals and have a game in hand.
On Saturday, Manchester City beat Chelsea 1-0 in an English FA Cup semifinal match at London's Wembley Stadium.
Manchester City will take on archrivals Manchester United in the 2024 FA Cup final on May 25 at the same stadium.
