ANKARA (AA) - German Bundesliga side Hoffenheim and manager Alfred Schreuder have ended their collaboration, the club confirmed on Tuesday.
"The club came to an agreement with the 47-year-old to terminate his contract with immediate effect," the club said on their website.
"I knew from the start that the task in Hoffenheim would be a major challenge. The work filled me with great joy. I thank the club for giving me the chance to work in the Bundesliga," Schreuder said in a statement.
Schreuder, 47, came to Hoffenheim from top Dutch club Ajax Amsterdam earlier this season.
The club added that along with Schreuder, his brother and assistant coach Dick Schreuder, 48, will also not serve the club.
With 43 points, Hoffenheim are currently on the seventh spot in Bundesliga, a football league in the Western European country.
